Setting the Preferences

You can use the Preferences window to set various attributes for the InkPaint application:

• To set whether or not to display names for the palette wells in the Palette window; see Setting the display of names for palette wells in the Palette window.

• To set whether or not to display keyboard shortcuts for palette wells in the Palette window; see Setting the display of keyboard shortcuts in the Palette window.

• To set the number of rows of text used to name the palette wells in the Palette window; see Setting the number of rows of text for palette well names.

• To set the default number of columns used for new palettes; see Setting the number of columns for new palettes.

• To set how pegging information is displayed in the Browser window; see Setting the display of pegging in the Browser window.

• To enable or disable automatic saving of a drawing when you move to another drawing in the Browser window; see Enabling or disabling auto-saving.

• To set the color of the Painting window background; see Setting the Painting window's background color.

• To set your preferred window layout; see Setting your preferred window layout.
